What is Your Health & Safety Response to COVID-19?

Our number one priority is the health and safety of our guests and team members. While we do not foresee any issues during your stay, please be assured that we are taking this matter very seriously with the health and wellness of all our guests and team.

While we always strive to maintain the highest standards when it comes to cleaning our hotel, we have increased the frequency of our cleaning routines and concentrate on high-traffic areas. Specifically, we have implemented/are monitoring:

  • Increased frequency of cleaning high-touch surfaces throughout the hotel and public areas.
  • Providing masks and additional training to our team members on proper utilization of disinfectant chemicals and the most effective cleaning processes.
  • Refraining any team member who is sick or suffering from flu-like symptoms to return to work until they are free of symptoms or have been tested negative for the virus if appropriate.
  • Making necessary adjustments to each of our dining outlets - Cafe at the Stella, The Crow's Nest Rooftop Bar, and The 1844 Table & Mash.

What is the $100 hold on my credit card account and why did I get charged this?

This is a pre-authorization placed on your card for incidentals or charges made to your room during your visit. We do not charge your account unless there has been damages to your room or you'd like to put the cost of a drink or food item from our property to your room. We will notify you if a charge has been made and upon your check-out, we immediately remove the authorization.

It's been a couple of days since my visit but I still see a $100 pending on my account.

Unless we've notified you regarding room damages or any purchases made during your visit we did not charge the $100 hold. Most Credit Card companies remove this within 24 hours. If you are concerned about this hold or charge, please give us a call at 262-842-2000
