A Dance With Death: 1950’s Sock Hop Murder Mystery Dinner
Grab your poodle skirt and slick back your hair — prom night at The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is about to take a dark turn.
Join us on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM for an interactive Murder Mystery Dinner, where a shocking death on the dance floor turns this 1950’s sock hop into a full-blown whodunit. Mingle, trade clues, question your fellow guests, and follow the twists as the story unfolds — because anyone could be hiding something… and someone is guilty.
Tickets are $65 per person and include a delicious dinner featuring a classic Waldorf salad to start, followed by green bean amandine and creamy mashed potatoes, served alongside country-fried airline chicken breast topped with rich cream gravy. The evening wraps up on a sweet note with a nostalgic pineapple upside-down cake.
Attire encouraged: 1950’s prom glam! Ladies — bows, pins, and puffy sleeves. Gents — sharp black-and-white suits or a classic tux. Bring your best dance moves and your sharpest instincts… this prom is going down in history for all the wrong reasons.
