About Us

The Stella Hotel and Ballroom is an 80 room luxury hotel and ballroom in downtown Kenosha, Wisconsin. The 100 year old building has been transformed into a luxury hotel and ballroom, which previously was the Heritage House Inn, before that was the Elks Club and prior to that, the Pettit Malting Company. The hotel has welcomed celebrities, famous restaurateurs, and government dignitaries traveling to Kenosha. Today, the Stella Hotel is downtown Kenosha’s most sought-after hotel after undergoing the most ambitious transformation in its history. Combining sophistication and contemporary design, while staying true to its original early 1900’s details, the hotel and ballroom delivers the same feel as it did over a century ago.

Architectural details of the original structure, now listed on The National Register of Historic Places, have been preserved and re-imagined, including reconditioned wood and terrazzo flooring, beams, and exposed brick.

The Stella Hotel offers the utmost in hospitality in the heart of downtown Kenosha, Wisconsin near shopping, dining, and theatres, and within blocks of beautiful Lake Michigan.
